The Brief
Rethinking Museumpas for a younger generation.
The challenge was to redesign the Museumpas website for a young digital audience aged 18–30.
The experience needed to do more than explain the pass. It had to make discovering museums and exhibitions feel relevant, accessible and inspiring — while helping users move easily from exploration to purchasing their own pass.
The UX Challenge
Making museums feel less distant.
Museums can easily feel formal, traditional and disconnected from the digital experiences younger audiences interact with every day.
The challenge was to make museum discovery feel more approachable and engaging without losing the cultural character of the content. The experience also needed to handle a large amount of information — from museums and exhibitions to articles, maps and practical details — without becoming overwhelming.
Design Concept
Classic art in a modern, sometimes humorous digital world.
Rather than making museums simply look younger, I built the visual direction around contrast: classical artworks placed inside a contemporary digital experience.
Modern layouts, playful interactions and unexpected details make the experience feel more approachable, while the artworks remain at the centre of the design.
Visual Direction
From classical references to a playful visual system.
The moodboard helped define the contrast between classical art and a more contemporary, expressive digital atmosphere.

From Concept to Interface
Translating the visual direction into the interface.
I combined classical imagery with modern layouts, strong typography and playful interactions to create a more contemporary museum experience.
Discovering Museums
Helping users explore, filter and discover.
I designed the discovery experience around flexibility. Users can browse museums and exhibitions, refine results with filters and switch to an interactive map to explore places visually.
Search & Inspiration
More than finding a museum.
The experience also supports exploration beyond the museum list. A global search brings museums, exhibitions and articles together, while the inspiration section helps users discover stories and cultural content through topics and tags.
Purchase Flow
A clear path from selection to confirmation.
I designed and developed the purchase flow in Laravel as a simple four-step process, guiding users from selecting their pass to entering their details, reviewing the order and completing the purchase.
Admin Dashboard
Managing purchases behind the scenes.
I also built an admin area in Laravel to manage purchased Museumpasses. Administrators can review orders, open individual order details, update information and manage the delivery status.
Outcome
A complete experience, from discovery to purchase.
Museumpas became a complete responsive experience combining visual design, museum discovery, interactive features and a functional purchase flow. The project brought together UX/UI design and front-end development, while Laravel powered the purchasing and administrative side of the platform.
